Stevenage have signed former Charlton Athletic midfielder Terry Taylor on a free transfer. The 24-year-old has agreed a two-year contract at the Lamex Stadium, with an option for a further year.

What happened?

Taylor joined Charlton from Burton Albion in the summer of 2023, but struggled to win a regular place at The Valley. He made 49 appearances during a season-long loan at Northampton Town in 2025-26.

Why it matters for Stevenage

This signing is Stevenage's second since their League One play-off semi-final defeat by Stockport County. The club is currently 6th in League One, with 75 points from 46 games, and a recent form of WDWDL.
