| Millwall manager Neil assessed Tairyk Arconte's performance after the team's friendly match against Stevenage, highlighting the Guadeloupean's pace and power but also his need to work on his link-up play and taking the ball in.

In the first fifteen minutes, Neil said Arconte was the "biggest threat on the pitch," showcasing his ability to get in behind the defense and create scoring opportunities. However, as the game wore on, Neil noted that Arconte became looser, and his touch for the goal was a bit loose.

"He gets in behind. He's got pace, he's got power. He's got goals," Neil said. "Something we do need to work on with him is his link-up and taking the ball in, and helping us get up the pitch."

Arconte started up top alongside Josh Coburn and was lively from the off, squaring the ball for Luke Cundle in the box to have a go, then bursting through one-on-one before being denied by man-of-the-match Filip Marschall.

Stevenage took the lead shortly after the interval when Jake Cooper deflected Jovan Malcolm's cross into his own net after a quick counter.

As of July 28, 2026, Millwall is currently 28 points behind leaders Lincoln in the League One table, with 75 points from 46 games, a recent form of WDWDL. The team's next fixture is against Luton on February 20, 2027.
